Es soll als pH-Ausgleichsmittel wirken, das die Haut beruhigen, eine normale Entzündungsreaktion im Körper unterstützen und eine gesunde Verdauung fördern kann.
Apfelessig wird hergestellt, wenn Äpfel fermentiert werden, was zu einem sauren Essig führt, der hauptsächlich Essig-, aber auch Milch-, Zitronen- und Äpfelsäure enthält.
Es gibt nicht viele wissenschaftliche Studien zu den Vorteilen von Apfelessig für Hunde, daher ist es schwierig, konkrete Vorteile zu nennen, aber viele Hundeltern haben sie aus eigener Erfahrung gemacht…
Ist Apfelessig gut für Hunde?
Apfelessig soll:
- Gelegentlich juckende Haut und Ohren positiv beeinflussen, aufgrund von Hefepilzbefall
- Schuppen verbessern
- Hilfen bei Hunderülpsen / überschüssigem Gas
- Die Blasengesundheit Unterstützen
- Die Magen-Darm-Gesundheit Steigern
- Hilfen bei oxidativem Stress im Zusammenhang mit Fettleibigkeit bei Hunden
Apfelessig ist leicht sauer und erreicht auf der pH-Skala Werte zwischen 3,1 und 5, sodass ein Hund mit einem nicht optimalen pH-Wert in seinem Körper von der Einnahme von verdünntem Apfelessig (50/50 mit Wasser) profitieren kann.
Es wird gesagt, dass ein optimaler pH-Bereich für einen Hund irgendwo zwischen 6 und 7 liegt, was über seine Urin- oder Blutprobe von Ihrem Tierarzt gemessen werden kann.
Apfelessig soll auch bakterienausgleichende Eigenschaften besitzen.
Apfelessig für Hundehaut & Pfoten
Hunde, die gelegentlich juckende Haut und/oder Pfoten haben oder solche, die Schuppenanfälle haben, können von Apfelessig profitieren, wenn sie in einer verdünnten Form davon gebadet oder mit einer verdünnten Version davon besprüht werden.
Die Säure des Apfelessigs kann helfen, den pH-Wert der Haut Ihres Welpen auszugleichen, während seine bakterienausgleichenden Eigenschaften empfindlicher Haut helfen können.
Testen Sie Ihren Hund immer 24 Stunden vor dem Baden in einem verdünnten ACV-Bad mit einer kleinen Menge verdünntem Apfelessig, um sicherzustellen, dass er nicht allergisch darauf reagiert.
Denken Sie daran, Apfelessig immer 50/50 mit Wasser zu verdünnen, bevor Sie ihn bei einem Hund anwenden, und vermeiden Sie heiße Stellen/offene Wunden oder Schnitte, die Ihr Hund haben könnte.

Obwohl es absolut nicht ratsam ist, Apfelessiglösung direkt in den Gehörgang eines Hundes zu geben, können Sie einen Wattebausch halb in Wasser und halb Apfelessig einweichen und dann einfach sanft um die Ohren wischen.
Geben Sie, wie oben, keinen Apfelessig auf sehr wunde Haut oder offene Wunden/Schnitte, da dies Ihrem Hund unangenehm sein kann, und führen Sie 24 Stunden im Voraus einen Test durch.
Apfelessig für Hunde
